8. Joseph and Anne’s Fantastic French Skills
Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anne Hathaway made a surprise appearance at his Hit Record Fall Formal in LA this October to perform a tune alongside a fan. We already knew The Dark Night Rises costars are both musically-minded, but this time they joined forces to show off their singing skills in French, no less.
7. Kim’s Reality Check
“Get off the stage.”
Here’s a must-see reality moment — Prince pulled Kim Kardashian on stage during a February concert at Madison Square Garden, but because she didn’t shake her famous assets enough, Prince actually kicked her off! All was well shortly after though, as Kim later tweeted that she was invited back up for the finale to redeem herself.
6. Miley’s “Marley” Moment
“You know you’re a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much F$#@*& weed.”
This video could be a smoking gun following Miley Cyrus’s salvia incident last year — the pop star took the mic and called herself a “stoner” during her 19th birthday party in November. Miley’s rep responded saying the former Disney star was just being a “smartass,” and Kelly Osbourne said the Bob Marley cake was an inside joke.
5. Bundchen and Brady Boogie
Seeing supermodel Gisele Bundchen singing in her car was a sweet treat back in February, but the following month, she outdid herself by Samba dancing in a bikini at Carnival. And to top it all off, her husband Tom Brady made headlines with his moves from the sidelines.
4. Selena and Taylor Both Take on Nicki
“I mean excuse me, you’re a hell of a guy it’s like my my my like a pelican fly”
Selena Gomez showed off her sharp tongue in January when she shared this video of her rapping to Nicki Minaj’s super bass.
The following month, her friend Taylor Swift took on the same song at a Nashville radio station, proving they could both rhyme with the best of them in addition to being country and pop music powerhouses.
3. Beyoncé’s Backstage Ballad
Beyoncé belted out a ballad backstage of American Idol in May. Jay-Z posted the stripped down moment on his blog, with a sweet and sincere message that read: “Sometimes you need perspective. You’ve been right in front of greatness so often that you need to step back and see it again for the first time. … NO MICROPHONE. No effects.”
2. Ryan to the Rescue
From his My Little Pony theme song performance, to his recital of those hilarious Hey Girl blog posts, there was no shortage of viral Ryan Gosling videos this year, but the one we had to point out was when he was captured on camera breaking up a fight on the streets of New York in August . . .As if we needed another reason to fall for him.
1. The Prince Takes a Plunge
And the number one celebrity viral video — Prince Harry got so caught up in getting his groove on that he fell into a pool in Croatia. The August incident put the Prince’s partying ways on display once again, after he was on his best behavior for brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton royal wedding in April.
